Exhibition Catalogue

This catalogue follows the Remaking Research exhibition held in the Concourse Gallery at Emily Carr University of Art + Design from November 1 – 3, 2012. The exhibition featured the artwork of six artists and artist teams. For this publication, the artists talked about their projects, their aims, objectives and research methodologies.

The call to the symposium and exhibition were built around three themes: The Production of Knowledge in Art and Design; The Political Economies of Art and Design Research; and Networked and Partnered Research Practice. The symposium and exhibition provided an opportunity to reflect on the human-centered, expressive and experimental approaches to knowledge formation and critical inquiry.

The following interviews were conducted by David MacWilliam at Emily Carr University during the installation of the exhibition on Sunday, October 28, 2012.
